Mary Younkin (b. Orange County, CA 1982) earned her BFA from the California College of the Arts in 2004 and her MFA from Parsons the New School for design in 2010. Since moving to the east coast, Younkin's work has been exhibited widely in the New York City area including SuperFine! Art Fair, Living Gallery Outpost, cloyingParlor, 440 Gallery, Established Gallery and the Abrons Art Center.

Inspired by her life in both the tech and art industries, Younkin explores iconic images of women, influences of power, memories of girlhood and suburban dystopia. She lives and works in Brooklyn, NY.
